Yoga on Finchley Road
Friday Ground & Flow with Danny Mullan · Swiss Cottage, NW3

The Hub, inside O2 Centre · 255 Finchley Road, London NW3 6LU
Two Friday morning yoga classes blending movement, breath, and meditation. All experience levels welcome - bring your own mat.
Start the weekend well.
Both classes share the same approach: mindful sequencing, guided breathwork and a few minutes of meditation to close. The difference is pace.
Ground is the softer of the two — slower, more restorative, and a genuinely comfortable place to begin if you're new to yoga or returning after a break. Flow moves more, links breath to movement, and asks a little more of you, while still being open to anyone happy to take options along the way.
Plenty of people will do both, one after the other — book each class for the same Friday and the pair comes to £25.
Ground
Friday 9:00–10:00am · £15
Slower and gentler. Longer holds, more support and space to settle — especially suitable for beginners.
Book GroundFlow
Friday 10:15–11:15am · £15
A more dynamic, faster-paced class linking breath with movement. You do not need to be advanced: every sequence includes clear options, and you can pause or rest whenever you need.

Questions about yoga on Finchley Road.
I'm completely new to yoga — which class should I choose?
Ground at 9:00am. It's slower and well supported, and nothing is assumed, which makes it a good beginner yoga class if you live or work around Swiss Cottage, Finchley Road or West Hampstead.
Where are the classes held?
At The Hub inside the O2 Centre, 255 Finchley Road, London NW3 6LU. It's a few minutes' walk from Finchley Road Underground (Jubilee and Metropolitan lines) and Finchley Road & Frognal Overground, and about ten minutes on foot from Swiss Cottage station.
Is there a cheaper way to come regularly?
Yes. Buy 4 classes for the price of 3 (£45 instead of £60) and use them on Ground, Flow or both within 2 months. You pay once and then book each Friday with your email, with no card needed each time. It isn't a subscription and nothing renews.
Is this yoga near Swiss Cottage, West Hampstead and Hampstead?
Yes. The O2 Centre sits between Swiss Cottage and West Hampstead, and it's easy to reach from Hampstead, South Hampstead, Belsize Park, Kilburn, Primrose Hill and St John's Wood. It covers the NW3, NW6 and NW8 postcodes.
What happens in each class?
Both one-hour classes combine yoga postures, conscious breathing practices and meditation. Ground gives you more time to settle. Flow builds a steadier rhythm with more continuous, vinyasa-style movement.
How much are the Friday yoga classes?
Each class is £15. You can book Ground and Flow together on the same Friday morning for £25.
Is Flow only for advanced students?
No. It's faster and more dynamic, but options are offered throughout and you're welcome to rest whenever you like. Anyone with a little experience will be comfortable.
Can I do both classes?
Yes. Choose "Both" when booking and you'll get the whole Friday morning, 9:00 to 11:15am, for £25.
I used to practise at Virgin Active Swiss Cottage — is this similar?
If you're looking for a new morning class in the area after the club's closure, these Friday classes are just up Finchley Road, with the same mix of postures, breath and meditation.
Do I need to bring a mat?
Yes, please bring your own mat for now. I hope to provide mats as the classes grow.
When should I arrive, and is there parking?
Five to ten minutes early gives you time to settle. The O2 Centre has its own car park, and buses along Finchley Road stop right outside.
